Carpanese Home returns to Fuorisalone 2025 with “Unfolding" - the new furniture collection designed by Giorgio Bonaguro, Simone Bonanni and Matteo Zorzenoni.
Eleven new pieces of furniture combining function, sculpture and balance for “Beyond the Shape”, an installation project curated by Studio Federico Peri in which sketches, photographs, catalogue fragments and moving images accompany visitors into the folds of production to tell the most intimate design language of the Verona-based company.
Beyond the shape is the title of the museum-like installation by Studio Federico Peri conceived to enter the folds of production and tell the company's most intimate design language.
The inception, design choices, production expertise, and heritage linked to the realm of fine cabinetmaking converge in an exhibition crafted to spotlight the new pieces of furniture.
Set in the heart of the Brera Design District, Beyond the shape will present each product, with the exception of the bookcase, on a platform with a radius joint between horizontal and vertical surfaces designed to recall a photographic backdrop. On the vertical wall, a visual and narrative collage consisting of “descriptive pictures”, sketches, photographs, catalogue fragments, and moving images will offer insights and information on finishes, processes, and design solutions that transformed complexity into method, method into know-how, and know-how into identity.
A selection of lights by the CTO Lighting brand and a selection of Murano glass vases, glasses and candles by Purho complete the set-up.
